SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Gusty winds brought cooler air into the area today as many of our highs were in the 40s.
That wind will be calming down some tonight and any clouds that moved into the region should clear out as lows go into the 20s.
Temperatures will start to rebound during the day on Friday with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s expected under a mostly sunny sky.
The real warmth holds off for the weekend.
That’s when temperatures have a chance of surging to near 70 degrees for parts of the area on both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday is looking mostly sunny while more clouds will start to move in during the day Sunday.
By Sunday night, some rain showers will be possible with light rain possibly continuing into Monday.
This system will also be cooling us down as well with highs on Monday in the low to mid 40s.
Tuesday will still give us a lot of clouds and a chance of some light rain or snow with highs in the mid 40s.
We can’t rule out an isolated shower Wednesday and Thursday as it starts to get warmer again.
Highs on Wednesday will be near 50 with highs on Thursday in the low to mid 50s.
