Fast food fans have been pining for McDonald’s since it was forced to close its doors as part of the coronavirus lockdown.

The chain released a recipe card showing exactly what it takes to make the iconic sausage and egg McMuffin – and the best news is the DIY version is never off limits, regardless of the time.
With breakfast sorted, the next thing we need to nail is the Big Mac.
Although it may seem like a simple one to master, everyone knows the real secret to a tasty Big Mac is hidden in the sauce – but one creative cook now thinks he may have cracked the code.
TikTok user Evieanddaddy14 shared his recipe, and it’s pretty simple to try for yourself.
Captioning the video : ‘Missing McDs? Make Big Mac sauce’ he sets out the seven ingredients you’ll need.
- 3 tbsp of mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp of pickle relish
- 1/2 tsp of garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp of onion salt
- 1/2 tsp of paprika
- 1/2tsp of white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp of American mustard
Adding them to a bowl one at a time and mixing until all the ingredients are combined, the final product even looks like the real deal.
All that leaves you to assemble is a couple of beef patties, lettuce, cheese, onions, pickles (even if you put them in just to take them out again for an authentic experience) and the three-layered sesame seed bun.
As if that wasn’t enough, another user showed how to make McNuggets – and the incredible effort has been viewed nearly 29 millions times.
The method has been hailed as better than the originals by others, with one commenting: “Not all heroes wear capes.”
