We may it 70 tomorrow, the warmest day of the season.
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — The early part of the week will be mild, downright warm even tomorrow with potentially our warmest temps of the season before a late week cool down.
Look for mostly cloudy skies this Monday with an afternoon shower possible in the metro but most of that activity will be just north. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s with a southeast breeze at 7-14 mph. Without the sun and in contrast to the weekend, it feels cooler outside.
Overnight tonight into early Tuesday we could have a few showers (and even a couple thunderstorms) move across central/northern MN. Once again, the best chance of getting wet will be just north of the Twin Cities. We’ll see skies clear for the afternoon and highs in the upper 60s, potentially our first 70 if we can squeeze out enough sun!
Temps drop Wednesday and highs will be just in the 40s and 50s later in the week into the weekend but at least it will be mostly sunny.
